5/17/22: "What is a paraprofessional and how much do they make?"- The is another article that annoys me. It says that in the Denver metro area you need to make at least $59,000 after taxes to be good, but most people don't make that much in or outside of education. The problem is that the cost of living just keeps going up and nothing keeps it in check. https://kdvr.com/news/data/what-is-a-paraprofessional-and-how-much-do-they-make/?fbclid=IwAR2X0Gg-yb5XAnrozJI_GXhu8uMSwLF2SCtfXC-S4Ra2hYLd5iQdFtWRGCE
5/18/22: "Cherry Creek School District's reputation called into question amid ongoing student assaults"- I actually came out of this school district and I am very disappointed in what it has become. I actually feel that DPS is doing better with its students. At the same time we have a pandemic of violence going on in our society and the schools are just a reflection of that. We continue to have shootings and and bullying at all levels in our society. People blame covid for people not knowing how to interact with others, but this has been a long time building. School shootings have been happening since I was a kid and the general violence has been increasing in our society as we forget to treat people with basic respect. https://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/local-news/cherry-creek-school-districts-reputation-called-into-question-amid-ongoing-student-assaults?fbclid=IwAR3n1FePa3ADPKWtlqrnOSYqfjrqGLYc3L_vLXCO8hr3XRjRjiFYNpoH5hM "'We have a history to resolve': MSU Denver offers free tuition to Native, Indigenous students"- https://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/local-news/we-have-a-history-to-resolve-msu-denver-offers-free-tuition-to-native-indigenous-students?fbclid=IwAR28-QEaR81XxlOBvMiZpe2iN39q29gmM6iH80nvD38x1hKe20whQ4JmZNc "Denver Public Schools Says It Has 'Drastically Increased' Mental Health Resources, Here's What's Next"- https://denver.cbslocal.com/2022/05/18/denver-public-schools-mental-health-resources/?fbclid=IwAR13mnuO53VX2wu4JgUUpjTZWoTmgYBIzgmSxffUWaxU-m6thGlyY8EWd0s "Fact Check: Are Black Women Really The Most Educated?"- 6/19/20: "Black Women Are the Most Educated Group in the U.S."- https://www.thoughtco.com/black-women-most-educated-group-us-4048763
