3/4/22: "10 of the best degrees to get right now"- I like how Fox news in their own way are supporting education. This has been one topic that is not normally supported by them or their supporters. So I am willing to give credit where credit is due. At the same time I can tell that the person writing this is also disconnected with how education works. One example of this is them simplifying the engineering degrees. Also many of these subjects need advanced degrees past just the Bachelor level. I would actually recommend checking out the Colorado School of Mines website:https://www.mines.edu/academics/ . https://www.foxbusiness.com/personal-finance/best-degrees-to-get
3/8/22: "6 things parents should know about mental health before sending a kid to college"- Number 1 I agree with full. Here's the truth about education: for most schools each student is just a number because of how small the staff is when compared to the student population. Self advocacy is the only thing that will get most students through college. Also schools do not know what you need if you do not tell them. https://www.today.com/parents/teens/college-mental-health-rcna18429?fbclid=IwAR1JX6eropLB8VMJkBGf6IuwQ7x5R9jWLQ3U7AOR6YAOBC61lCD67zXxHTY "Students today want quicker credentials and clearer job pathways. So, Colorado colleges are responding with new ways to approach post-secondary education"- https://www.cpr.org/2022/03/08/colorado-college-students-apprenticeships-certificates/ "6 things parents should know about mental health before sending a kid to college"- https://www.today.com/parents/teens/college-mental-health-rcna18429?fbclid=IwAR3KnATP4mf9kFC4yWPXGgIjbrfD1NluJ9F9lTuJ8Zgrt3a86Tn4nI1bZjw
3/9/22: "Court orders four Douglas County School Board members to follow the state's open meetings law"- This one isn't all that surprising that board members would do this. Most of the time they do not have the right education or work experience to be in these positions and only got it because of their political connections. I also tried to do a quick search on their background on LinkedIn and came up with nothing. https://www.cpr.org/2022/03/09/douglas-county-schools-secret-meeting-injunction/

3/23/22: "Taliban Cancels Girls' Higher Education Despite Pledges"- No one really expected the Taliban to keep a promise. All they can do is lie and hurt people. This is just another human rights issue that the U.S. will turn a blind eye on. If we're not going to help Ukraine, then we might as well go back to the Middle East and finish the job we started. Right now we're just sitting back as horrible people abuse others. Our ideas of freedom really don't stand up for much when put against real world events. - https://www.huffpost.com/entry/afghanistan-girls-education-cancelled_n_623b06a9e4b019fd813560e4?fbclid=IwAR1_sPJul9TXgW12gxkmEL6MIJ8WXZioEV3-u2j-Z1n_W3jfFedXVCNQTGQ
